Leymen is a town in the Haut-Rhin (agglomeration Saint-Louis) with 1,200 inhabitants and is located on the border to Switzerland (between the canton of Basel-Landschaft and the canton of Solothurn).
Leymen is surrounded by the first hills of the Jura (Landskronberg) and the Birsig river. It is also surronded by a medieval castle from the 16th century and benefits from the tranquility of the countryside. In the village you can find local shops and good restaurants. By taking the Swiss tram no.10 you can access directly to Basel’s main train station.
