Good neighbourly rules

Noise is one of the nuisances of life in society most difficult to live.
Here is a brief overview of the rules set out in a municipal to guarantee everyone the right to rest and tranquillity.

In general, the aim is to avoid, as far as possible, any behaviour likely to disturb the neighbourhood:

  • moderately adjust the sound volume of transmitting equipment (radio, television, HI-FI, musical instruments);
  • ensure that movable and human movements, shocks and falling objects can not be perceived by neighbours;
  • Avoid, as far as possible, screams, howls and loud noises; ensure that adult, teen and child behaviours, as well as animals, are not likely to disturb the neighbourhood;
  • finally, in collective dwellings, avoid if possible to use appliances or noisy instruments before 8 am and after 9 pm.

On more specific points, the provisions concern:

  • Building equipment
    Indoor and outdoor equipment, whether individual or collective, must be up to standard and not cause any inconvenience to the neighbourhood.
  • Pets
    Owners must ensure immediate intervention in case of repeated and untimely cries of domestic animals.
  • Private individual pools
    Make sure the installation is up to standard and secure. Avoid any behaviour that may disturb neighbours, especially after 10 pm
  • Gardening and DIY
    It is requested to use tools and appliances to the standards in force and according to the following times:
  • working days (Monday to Friday) from 8:30 to 12:00 and from 14:30 to 19:00;
